A sampling of artwork Sebastien has been doing at school. He's very talented!

Sebastien is obsessed with Barney. He pushes the power button to turn on the TV himself, and then hands us the DVD remote so we'll push play. And he always wants Barney. If Barney isn't on, he'll find the DVD case that the Barney comes in and show it to us, handing us the remote again to say "Change it to Barney!" Tonight I was in a different room and I heard the TV turn on. It was Seb. And then sure enough, he brought the DVD remote all the way over to me to turn it to Barney. If we don't do it, he starts pushing the remote buttons himself to make it happen. I'm afraid to show him which button is "Play!"

Another cute game Sebastien likes to play: He crawls under his crib, backwards strangely, where we can't see him. Then we play "Where's Sebastien?" We'll say, Sebastien, oh Sebastien, where could he have gone? He was just here a minute ago, but now he's gone! Where did he go? etc. etc. until after a minute he pops his head out from under the crib with a big smile, to say "Here I am!" He plays this game every night before bedtime.

We also discovered that Sebastien loves pizza. He hardly ate anything all day today. We tried several times to get him to eat, but he pretty much refused everything. Finally tonight we ordered a pepperoni pizza for dinner, and he devoured an entire piece, and then went for seconds! I didn't think he'd like the pepperoni because it has such a strong taste, but by the end he was pulling the pepperoni off and eating it by itself.

Sebastien's two new favorite books are 1) The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and 2) Touch-and-Feel Animals on the Farm. He brings them over to you and opens to the first page so you'll read it to him. He likes to turn the pages himself. But he turns them so fast that we usually have to just tell the story really quickly without actually reading it. He loves to stick his fingers in the little holes where the caterpillar eats through 1 apple, 2 pears, etc., and in the farm book he loves to feel the dog's furry tummy and the sheep's woolly coat.
