Since my last post, Sebastien has officially become "a kid." He runs, jumps, dances, plays in the snow, rides his little Elmo truck without us pushing it for him, plays catch, builds with blocks, "reads" books all by himself, colors in coloring books, and yes, he now talks. Here are a few of his favorite words:

Car (ka) - he loves making the harsh "c" sound over and over
Bubble (bubow) - say the word bath, and he immediate says "Bubble! Bubble!"
School (coo)
Up (puh)
CaCa - not the word for poo, but rather the sound birds make. If he sees a bird in a book or in the sky, he says "CaCa! CaCa!"
Ball (bow)
MaMa and Daddy, of course

He has also just started putting words together. He'll say "ByeBye Daddy!" Or "Daddy Car!" which means he wants to go in the car to visit his daddy at work.

It's amazing to watch how quickly the words are coming now, too. Tonight, out of nowhere, he started saying "Color" over and over, referring to the crayon he was holding.

  1. Terrific pix. Love the vocabulary. When he was Seb's age and beginning to speak, Pablo had trouble pronouncing words that ended in "er" -- he would say "oo." It was really cute and we all started copying him.
